Last updated: December 2024

Welcome to Wilderness Pazuri. By accessing our website and booking our safari experiences, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking or enquiry.

1. Our Role

1.1. Wilderness Pazuri operates as a safari experience curator and booking facilitator. We design itineraries, handle enquiries, issue quotes, and manage pre-trip coordination.

1.2. Safari operations, including transportation, guiding, accommodations, and park permits, are delivered by licensed Tanzanian tour operators with whom we maintain trusted partnerships.

1.3. This structure ensures you receive expertly curated experiences delivered by fully licensed and insured operators who meet all Tanzanian tourism regulations.

2. Booking & Enquiries

2.1. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Wilderness Pazuri.

2.2. Submitting an enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed booking. Our team will contact you to discuss availability, pricing, and finalize your safari arrangements.

2.3. A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from Wilderness Pazuri and the required deposit has been received.

2.4. You must provide accurate and complete information when making an enquiry or booking. We are not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by you.

3. Quotes & Pricing

3.1. All prices displayed on our website are indicative starting prices. Final pricing is provided via formal quotes based on your specific requirements.

3.2. Quotes are valid for a limited period as specified. Prices are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

3.3. Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated and may be subject to currency fluctuations.

3.4. A booking is not confirmed until a quote is accepted and required payments are received.

4. Payments

4.1. Payment instructions will be provided after quote acceptance.

4.2. For confirmed bookings, payments may be made directly to our licensed operating partner. This ensures compliance with Tanzanian tourism regulations and secure handling of park fees, accommodations, and logistics.

4.3. Bank beneficiary details provided will reflect the licensed tour operator responsible for delivering your safari.

4.4. A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is typically required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your safari start date.

4.5. For bookings made within 60 days of the safari start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1. Cancellations must be made in writing via email to our reservations team.

5.2. Cancellation policies are outlined in each quote. Cancellation fees may apply depending on timing:

  • More than 90 days before departure: Full refund minus administrative fee
  • 60-90 days before departure: 50% of total cost
  • 30-59 days before departure: 75% of total cost
  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost (no refund)

5.3. Late cancellations may incur non-refundable costs related to confirmed bookings with lodges and service providers.

5.4. Wilderness Pazuri is not liable for losses arising from cancellations outside agreed terms.

5.5. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation.

6. Safari Experience

6.1. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Our partner guides will do their best to locate wildlife, but nature is unpredictable.

6.2. Itineraries may be subject to change due to weather conditions, wildlife movements, road conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

6.3. Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by guides and lodge staff. Failure to comply may result in termination of the safari without refund.

6.4. Minimum age requirements may apply for certain activities. Please enquire at the time of booking if you are traveling with children.

7. Health & Safety

7.1. Guests are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate vaccinations and health precautions for travel to Tanzania. We recommend consulting a travel health specialist before your trip.

7.2. Guests must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in safari activities at the time of booking.

7.3. Travel and medical insurance with emergency evacuation coverage is mandatory for all guests.

8. Travel Documents

8.1. Guests are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documentation.

8.2. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date from Tanzania.

8.3. Wilderness Pazuri is not responsible for any denied entry or departure due to inadequate travel documentation.

9. Liability & Responsibility

9.1. Safari execution responsibility lies with the licensed tour operator delivering your experience. Wilderness Pazuri facilitates bookings and coordination but is not the direct service provider.

9.2. Wilderness Pazuri is not responsible for delays, weather disruptions, or third-party service failures beyond our control.

9.3. Safari activities involve inherent risks. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

9.4. Clients are advised to have valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and evacuation.
